„We Love Treasury 2“: The Diversity of Treasury

0

Anyone active in corporate treasury knows just how diverse and interesting treasury is. Cash management, risk management in a global context or the optimization of intercompany financing are but some of the responsibilities treasurers handle on a daily basis, that define their work and the scope of their decision-making. The “We Love Treasury 2” book provides an insight into the world of corporate treasury and presents 23 businesses – starting with the family-owned and run company steeped in tradition to the globally active asset manager in London and the hip Berlin start-up company – and the way they tackle standard as well as company-specific treasury responsibilities. The book is accompanied by videos published on the BELLIN YouTube channel. Yesterday, our clients and partners had the opportunity to attend the exclusive presentation of both book and videos at our very own 1TC treasury convention.

Back in 2011, Martin Bellin published the first “We Love Treasury” book featuring stories from the BELLIN Community. It was a matter very close to his heart to highlight the importance of the work treasurers do and to give them the recognition they deserve. Who is it that ensures a business always has sufficient liquidity? Who minimizes financial risks in connection with FX deals? Who enables companies to reduce costs? The answer is simple and straightforward: modern corporate treasury functions.

Feedback on the first book and many new, outstanding case studies inspired Martin Bellin and his communications team to tackle a new edition. All throughout 2016, they visited BELLIN clients, and the new book and videos are the result of hundreds of hours of travel, interviews, filming, editing and design work. This is a wonderful compilation of treasury stories and a dedication to treasury in all its multi-faceted diversity. The one thing we all have in common, “We Love Treasury 2!”

You can order the “We Love Treasury 2” book on Amazon (ISBN 978-3-00-055510-7) or directly from BELLIN. The YouTube video playlist can be found at blln.to/wlt2videos.
